The already delicate gaming community has been hit by one more misfortune today, as it’s been affirmed that Byron “Reckful” Bernstein has passed away at the age of 31, as informed by his roommate, his ex-girlfriend and by the others.
The presumed cause of death of Byron “Reckful” Bernstein is suicide, which resulted in various gaming and esports personalities to spread the helpline number for suicide prevention in case of help.
Reckful was a largely famous Twitch streamer and World of Warcraft player, as he was one of the top players in the world, indeed, for a time. One of his paramount accomplishments was positioning rank one in six sequential seasons of World of Warcraft and has also triumphed several other tournaments and events inclusive in the game.
Reckful funneled his skill and personality into a largely prosperous following on Twitch, where he would stream for tens of thousands of spectators at the same time. His channel is presently playing a replay of an old stream that is being viewed by 40,000+ spectators.
Besides to World of Warcraft, he was well known for playing other games from Asheron’s Call to Hearthstone. But recently, he had been working on a new game as a developer which is called Everland and was set to be launched in this year.
Social media has been flooded with support for Reckful’s family and loved ones, with all the people having nothing but kind words to talk about him. But, Reckful’s final tweets from the past hours do suggest some distress, but the overwhelming feeling is that no one saw this coming, and the gaming community is shattered over the loss.
