Oneplus 8 series made its worldwide debut in the previous month but the device’s launch in the Indian market is still due. Even though the brand has declared the India pre-order offers and pricing in India, availability of purchase in India is still unclear, A new report states that Oneplus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro might be can be purchased from 29 May.
Based on the reports of Forearena, the first sale of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be happening on 29 May via Amazon and other retail outlets. Previously, Amazon had indicated that a Rs 1,000 discount on redemption would be available if individuals bought gift cards and purchase any of the two phones. This made individuals believe that the sale would commence from 11 May but that was a false assumption.
One Plus 8 will be released in three storage versions- 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version can be bought at Rs 41,999, the second 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant can be bought at Rs 44,999 and the third 12 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage variant can be bought at Rs 49,999. The smartphone is available in two new colours Glacial Green and Interstellar Glows in addition to their original Onyx Black.
The OnePlus 8 Pro will be available at the beginning price of Rs 54,999 for 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage and the other 12 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage variant can be bought at Rs 59,999 in India. Considering the colour variants in the OnePlus 8 Pro, Glacial Green, Ultramarine Blue, and Onyx Black options are available.
An additional discount of Rs 2,000 on OnePlus 8 and Rs 3,000 on OnePlus 8 Pro respectively can be availed if the payments are done using the SBI Credit card.
OnePlus 8 has a 4,300 mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T which fills up the smartphone from zero to 50 per cent in about 22 minutes. This variant does not support wireless charging.
OnePlus 8 Pro has 4,510 mAh battery that comes with Warp Charge 30T support and Warp Charge 30 Wireless support which can top up the battery from zero to 50 in about 30 minutes. The smartphone also supports reverse wireless charging.
