Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Ubisoft’s officially declared the subsequent game in its long-running Assassin’s Creed range, which adds Vikings to the globally prominent historical murder simulator.
Not many details of Valhalla have been disclosed as of yet but Ubisoft has only published an initial teaser picture (made by artist Kode Abdo, also familiar as Bosslogic, in a live stream). But the promotional art exhibits the Norse- inspired setting for the forthcoming game, inclusive of a breaded, grilled Viking fighter wielding an axe which for sure isn’t Kratos from 2018’s God of War.
Yet, if the art is anything to go by, it appears that series elements of naval exploration, combat and stealthy murder will be coming back for the next outing. A complete trailer revealed that the game was to be launched on 30th April morning.
After 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Valhalla marks the latest game in the series. The previous game added varied new RPG-like mechanics to the series for the first time ever. Ubisoft didn’t launch a new title in the series in 2019 but used the time to continue to encourage Odyssey with upgrades and work on the following game in the series.
Ubisoft has yet to declare a release date for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or on which platform will it be accessible on- including if it will be available on the approaching next-generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X consoles.
